Defibrillator
(1) VF/VT – 4, 4, 4J/kg -> 2min CPR
OR
(2) Not VF/VT – ADR 10mcg/kg -> 2min CPR

- ETT
- IV
Consider & Correct
- Hypoxia
- Hypovolaemia
- Hyper/hypokalaemia
- Hyper/hypoglycaemia
- Hyper/hypothermia
- Tension
- Tamponade
- Toxicity
- Thromboembolism – MI/PE
Consider
- ETT/LMA
- Adrenaline 10mcg/kg every 3 min
Anti-arrhythmic
- Amiodarone 5mg/kg
- Lignocaine 1mg/kg
- Mg2+ 0.1-0.2 mmol/kg (for Torsades)
- Atropine 20mcg/kg + pacing
Buffer
- NaHCO3 1mmol/kg
- start chest compressions if HR < 60 – IO line – over 8yrs -> can use AEDs
