The Emergency Musical Interlude Series ground to a halt late last year due to the lack of high quality medically related music videos in production on the web. I feel your disappointment. But fear no more, take a deep breath sit back and relax, safe in the knowledge that we are still capable of finding some of the most obscure and disturbing medical music on the interweb…

Some days are special. Some days are amazing…and some days are so amazing they go beyond superlative; destiny changing days to be forever ingrained in ones mind. Saturday was one of these days.
Sometimes frustration can set in whilst working in Emergency Departments overwhelmed with patients and with monthly 3% efficiency cuts. Thankfully I work in an environment where the staff are thick-skinned, resourceful and resilient. They utilise many emotional defense strategies ranging from writing satire (UCEM) through to drinking heavily and singing satire.
