Collective (In)Competence

Thanks Chris. I had the pleasure of attending a workshop and lecture with Prof Barry Issenberg this week and he spoke of Lorelei Lingard’s work. At his institution Michael S. Gordon Center, they are involving sociologists and behavioural psychologists in their Medical Simulation Education and Research. So much more to learn about why we insist on being crap at simple things, while capable of scientific marvels.
