Bupropion

This antidepressant agent is now used to suppress nicotine craving and is only available as an extended-release preparation.   There is high risk of seizures following an overdose of any amount and potential for life-threatening cardiotoxicity occurs with very high doses. Supportive care and adequate benzodiazepine sedation usually ensure a good outcome.
