FOAM Procedure Video Database

I know, I know – I’ve been told.

“Nickson, why are you slacking off, there have been bugger all posts by you the last month or so.”

Hey, I’ve been busy.

First up, I’ve finally got around to putting a collection of FOAM videos of emergency medicine and critical care procedures from around the web online in one searchable database. The database lives on the LITFL Procedures page (down the bottom of the Education drop down menu on the LITFL website task bar).

I’ve reproduced it here so you can have a play with it.

As with everything LITFL it will be refined and improved over time. If it’s missing your favourite procedure video, confirm it’s not there then add the link to the comments and I’ll be sure to add it STAT (i.e. sometime before next Christmas…)

Also, while I’m being defensive about my productivity … Over 700 entries are now in the Critical Care Compendium (some are rougher than others… again you can find it under the Education drop down menu) — here are some examples from the airway section (45 entries and counting!):
