The metronomes shake the table – each metronome has its own oscillation plus a little push or inhibition from the movement of the table. Eventually each individual metronome moves in sympathy with the table – which reinforces the tables movement. The movement of the table provides “feedback” to the movement of the pendulum.
Order emerges out of chaos!
