Most of us, at one time or another, have gazed into the stratosphere and imagined clouds as familiar objects such as an animal, a face, an activity or letter of the alphabet. Such nephelococcygial activity has never resulted in my conversing with cirrus formations, no matter how alluring the Wolkenkuckucksheim may appear…

…but fruit on the other hand…

Fruit retains the physicality of presence and the textural vibrance of reality. With fruit, I feel a sense of being and of oneness and a conversational intimacy I rarely find practicable with bipedal primates…
