Empathy Pills are Wearing Off

Holiday Season in the ED brings little festive cheer, but thanks to frosted beer… ’tis our busiest time of year

It is a time for lost amoebic souls to congregate in ethereal pools of tranquil healing and join hands to synaptically engage in flashes of conversation fueled by the broth of malted yeast….

Iridescent capillaries baked on sun-drenched skin brighten the humid dankness begotten of rigorous ‘relative fever‘.

Vagrant and directionless, they seethe around the triagic pole, normal propriety and insightful mentation forsaken and set adrift on memory bliss.

Unable to follow simple direction, they stare blankly and forlornly awaiting further instruction…deaf to attentive cries they require visual prompting for entry to the the tranquil healing pool…be still now…be still
