Med Calc is probably the best thing on the internet. Well perhaps not the best thing but it is the best medicine-related thing. Well possibly not the best medicine-related thing but it is very good.
Med Calc is a free medical calculator for mobile devices. It is available for the iPhone, Palm OS and Windows Mobile.
Med Calc is designed for rapid calculation of common medical formulas and scores used in anesthesiology, pediatrics, emergency, intensive care and internal medicine.
Med Calc is free, easy to use and comprehensive (>80 formulas). Med Calc has formulas sorted by categories and units available either in S.I. or local units. Most formulas come with bibliographic references and clinical tips and results can be saved for later retrieval.
I find it and invaluable and would happily plug it even if it wasn’t made by my good friend Mathias Tschopp, MD.
