- Good answers for Part a) displayed knowledge of the indications and contra-indications for extubation including patient, staff, equipment and departmental issues.
- Part b) required a safe and systematic approach pre, during and post procedure.
- Features of unsuccessful answers
- Failed answers did not answer the question, failed to provide adequate detail or suggested potentially dangerous practice.
