Finally, after much ado, the first stage of the multiple choice question (MCQ) database is up and running…
There are two dedicated collections of questions.
- ‘Basic Sciences’ of anatomy, pathology, physiology and pharmacology
- ‘Clinical Medicine and Surgery‘
In this first stage, the user can choose either
- 5 randomly generated MCQ from either Basic Sciences or Clinical Medicine or
- 5 randomly generated MCQ from a subsection selected from core syllabus meta-tags

Multiple Choice Question Meta-Tags
Initially there is no recall of actions taken, questions answered and percentage accumulation. These functions will be added as the facility expands. The user has the opportunity to answer as many or as few of the posed questions as they choose, and on submission of the answers – the mini-test is marked.
