  1. I’m not sure if you can call the Shepherd schermozzle a New Zealand competition -- you may need to be more specific and call it a “Manawatu competition”… I think the last good thing to come out of there was Christian Cullen.

    Not sure if it’s the same as schemozzle -- Yiddish origin? -- “a mess”.
